Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.

Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health

During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then Dr. Chaiken will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, help you create your individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.

At your next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, and inspect your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.

“After several horrific experiences with different dentists, I went in search for something better. "Pain free dentistry" is the term I associate with Dr Chaiken. His patience, consideration and attention to detail have made this process as painfree as is could be. In addition, every member of his staff is equally supportive and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Chaiken!” - Jacque M. “I walked into your ofiice with a mouth of pain and infection. I was advised that I could have died from the infection ... with medication and oral surgery I was started on the road to rebuilding my mouth. I am happy to say I’m alive because of the attention Dr. Paul Chaiken gave to me. I have a new mouth and am now able to eat everything. Thanks, Dr. Chaiken” - Paul G. “I have EXTREME dentophobia; I should say I used to have it. Paul’s exceptional and considerate care has allowed me to relax and enjoy my visits to the dentist. He replaced a poorly designed bridge and my entire experience was easy, painless, and brilliant ... he employs a very thoughtful, very considerate staff ... more importantly, they are always in a good mood. As far as I am concerned, Paul’s my dentist for life.” - Chris G.
